REAL GAMEPLAY

Read the lane. Move late. Escape by a fingertip.

These images come from the released game. The interface stays portrait and readable so you can see danger forming, choose a gap, and turn a near-miss into one more push toward the next boss.

THE ONE-MORE-RUN HOOK

The gap looked impossible. Then you saw it.

A run begins with a single drag and no button clutter. Attacks arrive in readable shapes, but the safe lane keeps shrinking. A shield can rescue one mistake. Attack Up can turn defense into momentum. A different heroine can make the same boss feel completely new. Losing teaches you one pattern; restarting lets you test that knowledge immediately.

  1. Drag to place the heroine where the next opening will be.
  2. Keep moving while automatic fire clears the route.
  3. Collect stars and temporary survival rewards without entering a trap.
  4. Reach the next 30,000-point boss and learn its rule.

Your first target is simple: beat one boss. Then decide whether you can reach number thirty.

YOUR NEXT TARGET

Do not think about boss 30 yet. Beat boss 1.

Boss 1

Learn how late you can move and still escape. This is the first promise the game asks you to keep.

Boss 5

Stop reacting to bullets one by one. Start reading the shape of the whole attack.

Boss 10

Choose whether safety, stars, or Attack Up matters most in the next few seconds.

Boss 20

Use a heroine whose fire pattern fits the space you now understand.

Boss 30

Everything you learned becomes one final movement problem. Its identity stays inside the game.

Small commitment: install the game and defeat one boss. If the next pattern does not make you curious, you can stop there.

Game guide

How a run works

STAR-EATING GIRL is designed around movement rather than a crowded set of buttons. Drag anywhere on the portrait screen to guide the selected heroine while her weapon fires automatically. Ordinary enemies establish the rhythm of a stage, collectible stars increase the score, and a boss arrives at every 30,000-point milestone. Each boss changes the movement problem with a different silhouette, attack pattern, or use of space. The thirtieth encounter closes the full run, but its identity is deliberately kept out of promotional material.

The readable playfield is intentional. Projectiles begin from the heroine's weapon position, hazards leave room for deliberate dodging, and temporary rewards create short tactical choices without hiding the controls. Hearts recover health, shields protect against a hit, and Attack Up strengthens the current offensive push. A successful run depends on recognizing lanes and timing movement, not on purchasing power.

Playable cast

Four heroines, four attack styles

ASTRA

The central heroine is always available. Her Balanced Star Bolts make her the clearest introduction to movement, aiming, and boss patterns.

LUNARA

Twin Lunar Arcs spread across two paths. She is an optional character unlocked only after a completed rewarded advertisement.

SOLARA

Her Piercing Solar Lance emphasizes a direct line through approaching threats. She uses the same optional rewarded-unlock rule.

VESPER

Orbital Nova Burst creates a different spatial rhythm around the heroine. She is also an optional rewarded unlock.

Development notes

Built for short mobile sessions

The game uses a portrait layout so that movement remains practical with one hand. Interface elements scale to different screens, visible text is in English, and the selected heroine remains consistent across character selection, play, pause, clear, ending, and game-over screens. AllLife Games reviews animation frames, projectile origins, collision timing, safe space, and boss pacing as separate quality checks. The official comic expands the same cast beyond combat while preserving their names and visual identities.
